In addition to the actions of sending automatic routes when an attack is detected, anti-DDoS also has the option of manually announcing a route. This is the main option for route advertisement tests and for placing an ad indefinitely.
To make the announcement, it is necessary to have the community/e-community configured for this purpose, the next-hop IP and the subnet that will be announced (CIDR).
Just go to the screen BGP Routing and click Add BGP route manually
After that, simply fill in the fields with the information necessary for the advertisement, where the field “Keep active for/duration” you may have selected the desired option.
An important note about the time selected for the announcement period: if so “Manual Expiration” To finish just click Expire in the announcement made on that same screen.
For multiple ads, such as two communities or two extended communities, just put them between [] and separated by a space.
Following the form below:
The other fields follow the pattern already seen, with this format being only the field that differs from the multiple advertisement.
