For notification actions, we can have 3 states:
For BGP route actions, we can have 5 states:
The “Pending” status means that the action has not yet been executed, but is still in good time and will be executed as soon as possible.
The “Running” state means that the action is currently running and will expire normally on the scheduled date if no external action interferes.
In the “Aborting” state, the action was manually expired, so we must reverse the announced route if it is still announced.
When in “Success” the action took its main course, it performed normally within the expected time and was successfully expired!
The “Failed” state means that something wrong occurred in some process during the course of the action. When you hover the mouse over the state, a message with the possible cause of the error appears.
