¶ ASN registration
¶ How to register an ASN
To register an ASN, we first need the ASN number and your fantasy name, to find them you can consult the Whois of Registro.br.
The ASN used in the example was the 270247 name: TELNET SOLUTIONS identified in the interface graphic by ASN:
After identifying the ASN, it will be necessary to access the ANS registration menu, on the left side of the registration menu:
On this screen, we have all the ANS's already registered with the tool, to add a new one just click on “Add ASN”:
The information requested when registering is the name and number of the ASN, simply fill in according to the Whois and save to the green button:
After registration, you can search the ASN page to find the registered ASN, where it can be edited by clicking on the pencil, or deleted by clicking on the trash can:
¶ Monitoring
Another function available in the ASN register is MONITORED, located on the left side of the page before the ASN number. This option allows us to mark or deselect an ANS as monitored, making it possible to search for information specific to that ASN on the graphics, that is, ASN of suppliers, customers, or content that wishes to arrive at the result faster, simply mark as monitored.
Searching again for the Interface chart by ASN, we can see the registered name instead of the number 270247:
